The Institute offers teacher development and training programs for special education teachers, general education teachers, and para-pros in our modern addaption of Orton-Gillingham. IMSE's Orton-Gillingham training is a phonics based multi-sensory program which offers material which can be added to your current curriculum. This research based instruction will provide comprehensive reading instruction for your students. We specializes in teacher development, reading workshops, curriculum development, and parent trainings. Our teacher development programs in Orton-Gillingham are aimed at early intervention. Our goal is to decrease the number of students who are struggling with reading, writing, and spelling when they enter the third grade. IMSE's program is well suited for remediation of students who have fallen behind or who have dyslexia, learning disabilities, or other impairments preventing their reading development. IMSE also offers "Sensational Strategies for Teaching Beginning Readers" for parents to use with their children.
